Frontiers consists of two separate conferences. The programme structure for both mini conferences are similar, consisting of:
Plenary speeches and roundtable discussions will allow plenty of time for questions and responses from the floor after the formal presentations.
Parallel sessions will consist of the presentation of two or three (25 minutes) papers, followed by questions and responses from the group; a discussant, giving a 5 minute presentation, may be introduced for some of the papers before general discussion starts. Abstracts of papers for will be posted on the website.
For focused group discussions full papers will be posted on the website one month before the conference. Presentations will be limited to 15 minutes, where key issues/points are summarised. The remaining 45 to 60 minutes are for in-depth debate of the two papers and the topic area in general.
A
dedicated poster session will enable all
participants to study each contribution. The author(s) of posters will have
about 5 minutes to summarise the key points during the guided tour. There will
be time after the tour to enter into more detailed discussion with author(s).
